Japanese beetle larvae (grubs) feed on your lawn or garden roots and moles feed on the grubs. Eliminate grubs with Milky Spore and double your benefits. Milky Spore contains bacillus popilliae, a relative of bacillus thuriengensis. This naturally-occurring bacterium has no effect on any organism other than Japanese beetle larvae and remains active in your soil for 20 years. Use one 20-lb. bag per 7,000 square feet (6-7 bags per acre). Four to six applications of Lawn Spreader mix will be necessary to completely eliminate Japanese beetle grubs. Milky Spore Lawn Spreader Mix may be mixed with your favorite fertilizer for a complete lawn treatment. Apply between March and November; early August when grubs are most active is the best time.
